The mythical Xiezhi has been said to settle disputes by attacking the one at fault, but to Quinn it was never more than a picture on a notebook. Being too proud and too scared to fight back, she just lets her classmates push her around unchecked. However, when her tormentors’ antics go too far and she ends up badly hurt as a result, Quinn finds herself driven to drastic actions with troubling consequences. As she and one of their group warm to each other, Quinn is forced to realise that even bullies are human, and how she must find the strength to face her problems if she ever wants to move forward. Xiezhi tells the story of new friendship and understanding, where young girls get a wake-up call that leads them to maturity.
